A NEOCLASSICAL CHERRY AND WALNUT PARQUETRY INLAID CHEST OF DRAWERS, POSSIBLY GERMAN/NORTH ITALIAN, CIRCA 1800, the rectangular top centering a stylized seven point star within a dramatically figured walnut panel trimmed in contrasting ebony and blond block banding framed by a cherry wood border, above three similarly inlaid drawers with later bow ribbon tied laurel branch escutcheons and circular foliate wreath and disc paterae modeled pulls, flanked by trompe l'oeil parquetry fluted sides on tapering triangular feet. Height: 32 3/4" Width: 46 1/8" Depth: 20 1/2" Dimensions: Condition Report: Good condition for professionally restored antique chest of drawers including but not limited to expected minor scuff marks, small scratches, small chips, a few small areas with veneer lifting and expected age cracks.
