A NEOCLASSICAL REVIVAL GILT BRONZE AND WHITE ALABASTER CLOCK, FRENCH, 1880-1900, two nesting birds with eggs on a flower garland spray, verso the mount marked with a "B," atop a drum centering a flower garland swag and Arabic numeral enameled dial, the clockworks marked, "A.D. Mougin Deux Médailles," and numbers, 64/c4/4C73, above 1601/7-4, flanked by two flaming lidded ormolu bead chain trimmed urns upheld by square pedestals with dentil molding, cavetto caps and fillet cut rectangular pillars, raised on a breakfront plinth with applied bead chain and flowering leafy ormolu mount, on disc feet with French toes. Height: 15" Width: 10" Depth: 4 3/4" Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
Condition Report: Some mild tone to stone which is expected, some rubbing and patina on metal mounts, minor losses, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
