Condition:

Condition: The base of the rule is aluminium and the upper section seems to be some form of plastic, possibly Bakelite. Initially thought to be timber but more likely to be plastic. The scales are printed on paper glued to the rules. In generally good condition, the printed paper seems to have some varnish which has yellowed with time, and lifted slightly in one corner, but is not worn or damaged. Apart from the "Admiralty Research Lab" there are no identifying marks.
