Ebonised wood with brass inlaid decoration.

Condition: - scratches to the top
- left side: a piece of brass banding lost to the top, ditto pieces damaged and missing to the bottom
- right side: pieces of banding missing and damaged to the top and bottom
- the right front foot with a missing gilt bronze mount
- the doors: loose, damaged and missing pieces of inlaid brass decoration
- the right door keeps on falling open
- the item needs a check-up and restoration
