surmounted by a figure of Mercury after Giambologna, the dial with Roman numeral hours set within the fluted columnar marble base, raised on an octagonal plinth.
Height overall 32 inches. Continental Decorative Arts Bronze in overall good condition without dents, loss or repair, having a fairly even dark patina. Some minor/light scattered scratches. Columnar base intact, without cracks or repairs, minor chips to edges. Japy Freres time and strike movement appears mostly intact, with bell, but without pendulum or key. Unsure if clock runs.
