A Near Eastern terracotta figure with avian features, c. 1500 - 1000 BC, the narrow humanoid head with pointed headdress and large circular eyes, with both hands on belly. The head and body both with avian features. An interesting piece with incised details, which would have originally had the figure resting on its knee. H: 2 3/4 in (6.9 cm). Ex Southern California private collection.
