A Neo-classical style painted floor standing lamp in the mid-George III manner, simulated green verdigris and parcel gilt finish with applied brocade, single light above stem, spreading foot on square pedestal base, 165.5cm high, base 36cm square.
Condition Report:
Some wear from use, top sconce section with paint loss to each side- possibly suggesting old restoration, shrinkage cracks to the base- entire raised section of one side moulding, corner above it and small sections of leaf moulding to base missing, some wear and damage to exposed corners
