A Neoclassical Berlin KPM porcelain potpourri
Model no. 884, "Weimar vase", fired in two parts and screw-mounted. With additional longer neck attachment and pierced cover with pinecone finial. Decorated with a finely chased band of gilt arabesques around the centre. Blue sceptre mark, gold dot. Chips to the edge of the neck and a small chip to the rim of the cover. H 43 cm.

Dr Samuel Wittwer kindly drew our attention to the entry in the KPM model book, where a modification of the Weimar vase with a pierced lid is mentioned in September 1799.
