European Furniture & Decorative Arts The marble top has some age but is probably a replacement and has a repair on one corner which is not readily visible. The commode sturdy and ready to place. Minor age cracks in both sides. Faint craquelure throughout the ebony veneers and the polish The handles heavily oxidized with a verdigris patina. The wood is ebony and not an ebonized finish.
