Circular, the lid inset with a miniature of a wooded landscape with figures, attributed to Carl Ludwig Hackert, in a gold bezel, apparently unmarked; together with a gold-mounted tortoiseshell snuff box, the lid inset with a miniature of the chapel of William Tell, Swiss School, early 19th century, apparently unmarked

Condition Report:
First, miniature with some slight loss at edges, the lacquer box has a number of small nibbles at edges.
Second, miniature good, gold mount a little buckled, otherwise the box in good condition.
