Bronze, brown patinated and parcel-gilt. Two female figures as Allegories of Hunting and Fishing. On a shaped Griotte Rouge marble base.

1 drip plate, missing. Slightly rubbed.
The bronze figures Fisherman and Huntress by A.E. Carrier de Belleuse, dated about 1865, are illustrated in BRONZES SCULPTORS & FOUNDERS 1800-1930, by Harold Berman, Volume four, p. 955 (3662/3663).
