Characterful. Evidence of old worm throughout and chips and fragmenting to these sites. Later batons to the revrese of each cresting rail and upright. Strengthening screws to one where seat meets rear uprights. Replaced elements including some seat rails. Spliced and repaired feet. Wear and losses to some elements. One with replaced cane seat and one cane seat in need of repair. Red velvet very worn and silver thread braiding with wear and coming off. An atmospheric, theatrical pair which will require conservation.
