A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN LIDDED GINGER JARS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of compressed ovoid form and sides painted with blue double happiness symbols amidst long leafy stems, beneath a shoulder of stylized fretwork and surmounted by an associated lid centering matching double happiness symbols. Height: 10 1/2" Diameter: 9" Provenance: Private Collection, Pearland, Texas
Condition Report: Each in good condition with normal light scratches and tiny edge nicks from use, kiln frits, and general light wear associated with Chinese porcelains of this age and use.
