A PAIR OF DUTCH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE OCTAGONAL VASES, 19TH CENTURY

each ribbed ovoid body painted with an overall pattern of floral and foliate scrollwork reserved with four elaborate cartouche-shaped panels of either courting couples or buildings and sailing ships along a shoreline alternating with smaller panels of sailing vessels, now mounted as lamps.

Condition Report:
Affixed to a wooden base, and lamp mount affixed at rim. Glaze loss bruise chip at shoulder. General surface scratching. Several small firing flaws and minor scattered glaze crazing.
