De Coen's maker's mark is photographed from a pair of sauceboats, Ypres, 1773 in the Lunden bequest to the Sterckshof museum. See: Wim Nys et al. De Zilvercollectie, Provincial museum Sterckshof, Antwerp, 1997, no 223. A pair of candlesticks by this maker of 1760 was exhibited, Argenterie Civile aux poincons de Villes Belges, Brussels, 1969.
