Strauss, Allard & Meyer were one of the most important box makers, (also making paper-cutters & objects de vertu), in Paris between the two wars (1919-1941). They worked for Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Boucheron, Janesich and Hermès amongst others and they were located 19 Rue Louis le Grand in the 2nd district of Paris, then 11 place des Vosges in the 4th district.
