A PAIR OF JAPANESE PORCELAIN 'CRANE' VASES, LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY

each of oblong form with tapering base, the celadon-colored body applied with three cranes among a bamboo grove with scattered daisies, the rim with a band of stylised clouds centered with sunflowers, partly gilt, each signed along lower edge with overglaze red maker's mark under base; height of each: 30.5 cm (12 in.)

CONDITION
The pair is in overall excellent condition. Beyond some losses to the gilt and minor surface abrasions, no significant issues apparent to the naked eye.
