each with a moulded cartouche-shaped backrest on cabriole legs, upholstered with associated gros and petit point needlework; one with a red stamp DB 14

Condition Report:
This pair of fauteuils is in conserved condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. There are traces of green paint, namely to the seat rails that also bear the marks of previous nailing. Both armchairs display restorations, namely to the seat rails, joint of arms and very minor losses which have been sympathetically filled in. One with a repaired break to left back leg. There are traces of old woodworm which appears to be no longer active.

The needlework with restitching and in need of a clean. One chair with four tears which needs attention.

Sound and sturdy, ready to be placed.
