A PAIR OF LOUIS XV STYLE TULIPWOOD AND MARQUETRY INLAID TABLES À ÉCRIRE, LATE 19TH/EARLY CENTURY, each with a serpentine rectangular top centering blossoming marquetry stems within a conforming panel inlaid à quatre faces enclosed by kingwood crossbanding and a tulipwood border, above similarly inlaid sides and one concealing a slide pocket leather paneled writing surface, flanked by matching ends with one end centering a deep drawer mounted with a cartouche shaped gilt bronze escutcheon, raised on long elegant cabriole legs ending in scrolling gilt bronze sabots and joined by a conforming shelf stretcher with matching decoration, each branded "MADE IN FRANCE."
