A PAIR OF POTTERY MODELS OF EQUESTRIAN WARRIORS, A POTTERY STANDING FIGURE OF A MALE ATTENDANT, A PAINTED POTTERY LADY AND A STRAW-GLAZED ATTENDANT
Northern Wei Dynasty and Sui/Tang Dynasty
Comprising: a pair of equestrians wearing tabbed hats and long flowing robes, decorated in red, white and black pigments on the grey pottery; a standing figure with the hair dressed in two top knots, wearing a high belted long robe, red and white pigments remaining; a kneeling lady, wearing an elegant red painted robe, on a square base; a straw glazed attendant standing with the hands clasped together.
The largest: 26.7cm (10 1/2in) high. (5).
