A PAIR OF SPINACH GREEN JADE 'DRAGON' BELT HOOKS, LATE QING DYNASTY
China, 19th to early 20th century. Each finely carved in openwork with a chilong clambering on the belt hook and facing the dragon-head terminal detailed with a curved horn and large bulging eyes, the chilong's tail furcated, the underside carved with a circular button. The translucent jades are of a spinach green color with dark specks and veins as well as cloudy inclusions. (2)

Condition: Good condition with minor wear, small nibbles, tiny nicks.
