A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'BAT AND DOUBLE GOURD' CARVING
18th/19th century
Pierced and carved as a large double gourd fruit issuing leafy stems and with a smaller pendent double gourd to the reverse, a bat in flight to one side, utilising the russet skin, the stone of even pale celadon hue.
5.5cm (2 1/8in) long.
