A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE 'FLOWER AND CRANE' WASHER, 19TH CENTURY
The washer is carved and pierced in the form of a flower head growing from an intricate network of leafy stems with several smaller buds. Two cranes are perched at opposite sides, one clasping a lingzhi sprig in its beak. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with some minor streaked inclusions.
