each piece painted with trompe l'oeil still-life of fruit, nuts, currants or berries, within thick gilt bands, the borders gilt with a variety of stylised flowers, leaves and scrolls, comprising: two circular pedestal sugar-bowls and covers; two pedestal bowls on square bases; four low comports; four shell-shaped serving bowls and twenty-four plates

Condition Report:
Overall in good order with minimal damage and wear.

Sugar bowl and covers in generally good order with a minute glaze chip to the rim of one cover
Two pedestal bowls, both worn to the interior (which is not painted with fruit but gilt with a flowerhead, one with gilding to the border of the exterior of the bowl noticably rubbed.
Four comports
Four shell-shaped bowls, each with some rubbing to the gilt bands of the wells and borders from stacking, one example with a firing tear to the underside. Red printed marks (quite blurred)
Twenty-four plates, one with minor blemish to footrim (probably from the firing), one with a shallow chip to the inner footring, one plate cracked across and broken to two sections of the border and pinned, some slight general rubbing to the gilding and minor stacking wear to the wells, one plate painted with two yellow pears with quite noticable rubbing to the well and several plates with small patches to wear to rims. The plates have a variety of marks in iron-red and underglaze blue.
