LOT 0320

A PARKER INNER ROW JUMPER CAROUSEL HORSE C. 1920

[ translate ]

The joined and carved wood stargazer carousel horse with head up made by C.W. by Parker company (Leavenworth), Kansas is either from a traveling carousel or a larger stationary machine. As an inner row figure with jewels on the off-side, she was likely on a larger machine and placed on the very inside row with the jewels to be seen from the other side by riders, an uncommon feature not seen on all machines. She has a nicely carved scroll design on all sides, and a carved fish at the back of the saddle.

Measures 61 x 43 x 12 inches including the pole.

Please be aware that this lot is too large to ship by conventional carrier such as UPS, USPS or FedEx and will instead require local pick-up, delivery by a freight carrier or delivery by a blanket-wrap shipper. The cost most likely will not be low.
Condition Report: Good condition with iron stirrup holders, chains and older stirrups, no iron shoes, there are no rein rings, original cast iron belly plate embossed 11WORTH KAN and CWP, some seam separations and other effects of age and use.
