dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France, Octagonal, 12 mm cal. barrel, with fine, twisted weave, slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, fore-sight, signed in gold 'FATOU ET FILS A PARIS';... with traces of micro-grooves. Breech with gilded outlining, tang with sight and floral engravings. Backward spring lock marked 'Paris' and engraved with leaves and frames, fine cock, the head chiselled with a hound. Wooden, half stock with checkered grip, iron mounts; trigger-guard with finger support. length 37 cm.
