carved standing upright with a harness-style necklace crossed over the body, the head adorned with an elaborate diadem trailing sashes and framed by a peaked integral mandorla, the proper right hand raised to touch a torque, the other lowered and holding a wish-granting pearl, with polychrome pigments highlighting various elements of the composition, mounted to a modern stand, Japanese wood box (4)

Height 6¼ in., 15.9 cm

Condition Report:
The feet and base lost, as seen in the catalogue image. With a few minor patches of consolidation along one back edge, to the lower back edge, and to the nose. With wear as expected for age. Polychrome pigments likely later added or refreshed.
