With barrels each inlaid with silver scrollwork at the breech and with letters along the tapering sighting flat, foliate engraved flat bevelled locks and cocks, wooden stocks each inlaid with silver whorls, the butts each entirely covered with silver filigree enriched with silver pellets and clusters of beads along the back of the butt, and set with a nielloed square between cabachon red corals (corallium rubrum), spurred pommels en suite (small area of damage, four corals missing, some replaced), steel trigger-guards each with palmette-shaped finial and fluted bow, embossed white-metal side-plates, and white-metal muzzle-sleeves each incorporating a false ramrod and embossed with symmetrical foliate decoration (2)
