Sturdy condition and can be mounted flush against a wall, but with age cracks, stains, chips and worm holes as is normal for age. Probably date to 17th or 18th century, not 19th century as catalogued. There are traces of polychromy throughout, some of which is probably not original. There are several large chips / sections missing, from the base of one column and from the top edge of another column. Deterioriation, water marks and dark oxidization on the backs of the columns.
