A Pair of Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Covered Vases
18th/early 19th century
each having a baluster body with broad shoulders, applied throughout with flower-filled vessels, prunus blossoms, flowering peonies, blooming chrysanthemums, lotus branches interspersed with cranes, all between two bands of floriform panels, the straight neck decorated with overlapping leaves, the domed cover also with applied flowering branches surmounted by a seated fu lion-form finial.
Height 19 1/2 inches.
Each vase in decent condition with no visible hairlines or restoration. Discoloration to the interior glaze. Light dust residue. Small chips to the applied decoration.
