one stamped G.H.C. / 984 inside front seat rail; the other stamped GH inside back seat rail and G.H.C. / 977 inside front seat rail

Condition Report:
Structurally sound and ready to use. With typical scattered chips, flakes, and a few losses and old repairs to gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole, and bare wood in areas, mostly visible in catalogue photos. Old inactive worm holes to rails, consistent with age. Some minor shrinkage to joints. One partially tipped, the other previously with tips. Upholstery in good appearance with general minor wear, one with small tear to proper right upper corner on the back.
The seat height of each is approximately 17 inches.
