Each chair frame is in overall fine and stable condition. Retaining an early painted surface though likely retouched throughout their lives. Old scuffs, marks, scratches, chips and losses to the painted surface and gilding consistent with age and use. Upholstery is in tact, though coming detached from the frame in some areas, with some losses visible. The upholstery shows wear and that is has been well-used and loved. Tears to the upholstery visible to the rear of some examples.
