A Pair of Empire Style Gilt and Patinated Bronze Eight-Light Candelabra

each in the form of a classically draped maiden holding a torch in each hand and issuing the eight foliate scroll candle arms, set on a square tapering plinth raised on recumbent winged lions atop a quadripartite base.
Height 45 inches.

Each in overall good, stable condition without dents, loss or repair. Having fairly even patinas throughout. Some scattered very minor surface scratching. Likely late 19th or early 20th century.
