A pair of antique English ironstone serving platters featuring the traditional Tea Leaf pattern. Each piece is decorated with a central copper luster transfer-printed sprig of leaves and a coordinating luster band around the rim. The first platter is rectangular with a scalloped edge and a vertically ribbed, molded border. The underside features a circular black printed mark with a central crest and the surrounding text WARRANTED IRONSTONE JOHN EDWARDS ENGLAND. The second platter is rectangular with rounded corners and a smooth rim. The reverse bears a black printed mark featuring the royal coat of arms and the text ROYAL IRONSTONE CHINA A. J. WILKINSON ENGLAND.
