An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver pair of large table candlesticks. Very pretty decorated. Detachable and matching nozzles. Both candlesticks are crested, it mentions 'Frappes A F C Raison' (Hit Right) Made in Sheffield, 1788 Made by Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp Fully English hallmarked The dimensions of these fine pair of hand-made silver candlesticks are: Length 30 cm (11. 8 inch) Base diameter 13. 5 cm (5. 3 inch) Approx. 2258 grams (1142 + 1116) 72. 8 troy ounce / weighted) . (Scones weigh a heavy 135 grams together.) They are in wonderfull condition! It is not possible to believe that they are 232 years old and in such great condition.
