A Pair of Italian Baroque Giltwood Mirrors

each having an openwork crest centered with a palmette flanked by C-scrolls and rocaille above the cartouche form mirror plate within a conforming frame carved to show C-scrolls, S-scrolls, rocaille and grape bunches.
Height 30 1/8 x width 14 inches.

Scattered age splits and some repaired breaks throughout. Scattered instances of overpainting to the gilt. Instances of surface loss exposing the underlying gesso. One mirror with a partial break to a hanging bellflower element.
