A Pair of Italian Neoclassical Carved Alabaster Vases, Now Mounted as Lamps, 19th Century

Condition Report:
Height with lamp shades: 41 inches. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the working order of lighting.
The alabaster vases with some inherent cracks as well as some repaired breaks to the main bodies and small areas of infill, noticeable upon close inspection. Each with the usual small chips, losses, and repairs to the carved extremities such as the leaf tips and the edges of the square bases. One with a scratch to the main body and minor variations to coloring throughout. The custom JP Molyneux lamp shades in good condition overall with the usual expected wear commensurate with age and use. Very impressive scale.
