A Pair of Large Chinese Export Imari Chamfered Rectangular Platters
Qing Dynasty, Early 18th Century
清十八世紀初 青花礬紅彩描金庭院花卉圖八方大盤一對
each painted in the center with two large peony and chrysanthemum blossoms issuing from rockwork within a fenced garden within a diaper border at the well, the rim reserved with floral cartouches on a gilt-vine ground
length 19 5/8 in.; 50 cm
Condition Report:
One in overall good condition. The other with a minor shallow flake to one corner at the rim on the underside. Both with minor firing imperfections and minor wear to the surface, especially the gilding, as seen in the illustration.
