A Pair of Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze and Marble Console Tables

each having a shaped marble top raised on a figural support cast to show nude mail and female figures seated atop the base cast to show foliate C-scrolls and rocaille.
Height 35 x width 35 x depth 14 inches.

Marble tops intact without evidence of repair. Patina fairly even; surface wear and dirt consistent with age. Attributed to Paul Sormani based on description offered by consignor. It is possible that the tables were associated to the tops and were made out of large chenets joined to the marble and the leaves that support the marble. No visible signatures.
