In overall stable, sturdy condition. Gilt decoration is bright, but with scattered worn and chipped areas, consistent with age and use. Yellow paint was used to disguise losses to gilding primarily on legs and rails, not immediately visible. Seats are sprung. Upholstery has noticeable fading and staining throughout. One chair has newer screws added to the back legs where they meet the back rail, suggesting a previous restoration. Additional images available upon request.
