Condition Report:
The carved giltwood partially re-gilt with scattered chips and small losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas commensurate with age and use. Losses to gilding on proper right side of one banquette. Ages splits and repairs to legs and some shrinkage to joints as is expected. Each banquette with a roundel lacking. The tapestry coverings with previous restorations in areas and general wear and some fading to colors throughout. The foundation is visible in some places. Some minor slits and repaired slits. Structurally sound, sturdy, and ready to use.
