A Pair of Marigold Carnival Glass Footed Thistle Pattern Tableware.

A pair of marigold carnival glass tableware items featuring a relief-moulded thistle and foliage pattern. The lot comprises:

A shallow, three-footed bowl with a wide, ruffled rim. The interior and exterior surfaces are decorated with a relief-moulded pattern featuring thistles and stylised leaves. The glass displays a strong iridescent marigold finish with orange, amber, and pinkish lustres. The bowl rests on three curved, twig-form feet. The underside features a smooth, circular recessed centre without a pontil mark or maker's name.

A coordinating three-footed creamer or small pitcher. It features a matching thistle pattern on the body and a moulded handle with a textured, bark-like finish. The rim is scalloped, and the piece stands on three twig-form feet. The base is moulded with three feet and lacks any visible manufacturer marks or logos.

More Information

The overall condition of both pieces is excellent, with no visible large chips, cracks, or repairs on the rims or bodies (photos 1 and 2). The twig-form feet on both the bowl and the creamer appear entirely intact and free from damage (photo 3 and 4). Minor surface wear and typical mould lines from the manufacturing process are visible but do not detract from the items (photo 5).
