each of baluster form, painted with shaped openings, one enclosing a pheasant perched on rockery underneath flowering prunus trees, the other showing birds landing onto bamboo, above blooming chrysanthemums; divided by cicada blade-form panels filled with flying phoenix birds, bearing a mark in the shape of a vessel, incised Ota, 太田.
Height of each 9 7/8 in., 25 cm.
Property being sold to benefit the Mission and Vision of the Couse-Sharp Historic Site, Taos, New Mexico Asian Art
Each vase in good and stable condition with no major damages. One with a few cracks in enamel on the body, the other with pits and small areas with loss of enamel.
