Of squat bottle form, the slender necks with gilded dragon handles, the bodies decorated with cartouches of figures on a bridge fishing against a background of scrolling lotus, the base inscribed with a gilt Qianlong mark, together with matching stands. Period: 19th/20th century. Height: 40 cm.

Wladimir Simon Semcesen (1906‑1969) born in Austria Hungary, settled in Oslo, Norway in 1936. In the 1950’s and 1960’s before the Cultural Revolution in China, he acquired works of art in China that he brought back to Europe.
