With rebrowned twist barrels with bright bores and signed in full in capitals along the rib between the breeches, folding leaf back-sights calibrated from '50' to '200' yards and each with central platinum line, border engraved case-hardened breeches each with pierced platinum plug and decorated with foliate scrolls on the flat between, case-hardened tang decorated en suite, border engraved flat detented locks each signed in capitals and decorated with scrollwork, a running hare in a landscape on one, and two rabbits in a landscape on the other, foliate scroll engraved hammers (one spur replaced) each with engraved safety-catch behind, figured half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, border engraved blued steel mounts decorated with foliate scrollwork and comprising butt-plate decorated with a stag in a landscape on the heel, serial numbered trigger-guard with two prone stags in a landscape on the bow, trigger-plate with pineapple-shaped finial decorated with scrollwork, rear ramrod-pipe finial en suite, and hinged circular patch-box cover (area of pitting) engraved with a stag in a landscape within a border of scrolling foliage, blued set trigger, shield-shaped vacant silver escutcheon, original brass-mounted ramrod, and some original finish (some refinishing), London proof marks
