A Persian Pistachio Vintage Kashan ( 377x291cm). Woven in Kashan in central Persia. A fine and dense weave using lambswool. The field and border are pistachio and ivory tones. Having sky and navy blue highlights. There is a lovely circular medallion in the centre of the rug. Throughout the field are detailed floral motifs. The rug was woven approx 50 years ago, recently imported, having minimal use. It is in excellent condition.
