With domed skull embossed and chased with four gold-damascened sun-in-splendours, each against a ground of chiselled flowering foliage and between symmetrical gold-damascened arabesques, the rim bordered by ovoidal and circular panels enclosing silver-damascened Persian verses, fitted with gold- and silver-damascened plume-holders, central spike of diamond section, and nasal with shaped finials, and with vandyked camail of small butted iron and brass rings
