A Prussian officer's parade cuirass

Iron sword with some rust, brass, leather remnants. Cavalryman's breastplate with later applied monogram cartouche "FWR" for King Frederick William I (1688 - 1740). Painted inv. no.: K1:6/314. Dented, a horizontal soldered repair to the waist (the bent border possibly replaced). H 36.9, lower waist measurement ca. 47 cm.
Ca. 1790.
