With rounded ends and sliding tray, lacquered and heightened in gold, the top and sides with a maroon ground finely decorated in gold with scrolling foliage and lotus flowerheads, the inner tray with golden lotus flower sprays against a black ground, the underside with an interlocking trellis of lotus flowers and rosettes, 22.5cm x 4cm x 3.5cm.
