A QAJAR POLYCHROME-PAINTED ENAMELLED GOLD PENDANT WITH MOTHER AND CHILD Qajar Iran, first half 19th century In the shape of a clover, the front of the pendant painted in polychrome enamels, depicting a Mother and Child scene with a Qajar lady clad in Western-inspired clothes, showing off her cleavage, a young child on her side, fringed with small gold charms, the reverse decorated in repoussé with a central rosette amidst foliate sprays, a small suspension hook at the top, 4.3cm x 4cm.
